Thank you very much for the web's most exciting virtual class in linguistics.  Though it was just on construction, or a model for the real Ling.900 course, it was literally interactive and I could try an exercise in tagging (or specifying) the parts of a clause.  To tell you the truth, it took some time to load the images for I am accessing from Japan.  The line is not thick? enough for me to enjoy a comfortable browsing.  Nonetheless, it seems so fascinating that I am inclined to take your MA in Applied Linguistics course on a distance basis.  I have already received your prospectus and taken the TOEFL late last month. Now I am waiting for the score to come and imagining how nice it would be to learn linguistics on the net.  I am now working for a college of technology as an academic staff, but I do wish to earn an MA degree to be promoted to a professor.  I think I need wider monitor such as 17 or 19 inches to use this window with little difficulty.  My 15-inch monitor often requires me to open the space for the window wider, which is bothersome a little bit.  Anyway, both your method and teaching materials are quite attractive to me.
